OPEN HOUSE SIGNALS AKRON LAW FIRM’S COMMITMENT TO DOWNTOWN
Oldham Kramer unveils renovations and reinvestment
(AKRON, Ohio) June 19, 2009 –Oldham Kramer is giving its sleek, redesigned office space a public debut at an invitation-only event on Thursday, June 25. The law firm is remaining at its longtime location at 195 South Main Street, reaffirming its commitment to the downtown area even as other downtowns across the country fall victim to the economic slide.
Oldham Kramer has invested in downtown Akron with a completely redesigned and renovated office. The new look was specifically designed to echo the new corporate colors, logo and identity that were rolled out in the last year, following the firm’s name change from Oldham & Dowling. The cool blues and industrial grays lend themselves to a chic downtown setting.
The firm considered other office space, but decided to stay in the building that has been their home since 1994. “We knew we wanted additional space as we continue to grow,” said founding member Bill Oldham. “Plus, with the new name and new look for our firm, we decided it was time that our offices matched that new public face.”
Local building talent was secured to help with the aesthetic upgrade. Commercial Design and Construction oversaw construction and Mindy Caldren of Caldren Interiors handled the interior design.
The June 25 event also will highlight local artists Nancy Seibert and Michael Gable, with pieces from each showcased throughout the office space.
