OLDHAM KRAMER’S NEWEST MEMBER AGAIN RECOGNIZED AS A ‘SUPER LAWYER’

Barbara Knapic’s streak in its seventh year

(AKRON, Ohio) Feb. 25, 2010 – Barbara Knapic’s peers have again recognized her for being among the finest lawyers in the state. She has been voted one of Ohio’s Super Lawyers for the 2010 edition of the state’s essential guide to top attorneys. Knapic has made the list every year since 2004. Super Lawyers represent the top 5 percent of lawyers in Ohio.

Knapic is respected throughout the state for her work in workers’ compensation law. She is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist, a former public member and chairperson of the Ohio Industrial Commission, and former chairperson of the Self-Insured Employers Evaluation Board. She joined Oldham Kramer as a member in September 2009.

The Super Lawyers selection process includes statewide peer nominations, a blue ribbon panel review and independent research of candidates.

Knapic’s inclusion will be featured in Ohio Super Lawyers magazine, a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 60 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. It will be mailed to attorneys nationwide and throughout Ohio, and to ABA-accredited law school libraries.
