Barbara Knapic’s latest honor just announced

(AKRON, Ohio) Jan. 24, 2011 – Barbara Knapic is again being honored by her peers as one of the finest lawyers in the state. She was voted an Ohio Super Lawyer for the 2011 edition of the state’s essential guide to top attorneys. Knapic has been on the list every year since 2004. Super Lawyers represent the top 5 percent of lawyers in Ohio.

Knapic is known and respected throughout the state for her work in workers’ compensation law. She is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist, a former public member and chairperson of the Ohio Industrial Commission, and former chairperson of the Self-Insured Employers Evaluation Board.

The Super Lawyers selection process includes statewide peer nominations, a blue ribbon panel review and independent research of candidates.

Knapic’s inclusion will be featured in Ohio Super Lawyers magazine, a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 60 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
