OHIO JUSTICE SPEAKS TO AKRON WOMEN IN LAW
Premiere event for section founded by Oldham Kramer associates
(AKRON, Ohio) Jan 21, 2010 – A premiere event for the Akron Bar Association’s Women in Law Section is scheduled for Jan. 25, with scheduled speaker Ohio Supreme Court Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger.
Justice Lanzinger has had an impressive career that can serve as a model to all lawyers, and especially to women in the profession. She was an educator and started a family before going to law school, and was able to balance family life with the challenges of developing a successful legal career.
She will discuss some of the turning points of her career, key decisions she made along the way, and obstacles she faced.

Women lawyers often face balancing a demanding career with an equally demanding family life. They also experience unique challenges when it comes to networking, entertaining clients and remaining active in the legal community.
Two Oldham Kramer associates, Cara Galeano and Caryn Peterson, co-founded the Women in Law section of the Akron Bar Association to help increase the impact of women lawyers through mentoring, training and support, while expanding networking opportunities.
